The Ingredients

At Standard Proof, everything starts with the recipe. We select only the best and freshest ingredients for each of our rye whiskeys, including our ginger variation. We start with our award-winning Straight Rye that consist of a rye, corn, and malted barley mash bill, aged for a minimum of two years in new American oak barrels and then we infuse with real ginger root. After being freshly harvested, ginger root is infused into each batch continuously for 12 weeks, creating a deliciously rich and impressively spicy whiskey, perfect for any occasion.

The Process

The Standard Proof process is unlike any other — and we aren’t just saying that. We use proprietary methods that honor whiskey traditions while bringing new life to an American treasure. The magic happens in our American oak barrels, crafted to bring a balanced spice and oak flavor to our ginger rye whiskey.
