About The Tasting Room
We are a micro-distillery that specializes in naturally infused Rye Whiskey and Straight Rye Whiskey. If you are looking for a vibrant setting to enjoy a few drinks with friends, there is no need to look farther than our whiskey-tasting room. In addition to offering a wide assortment of Standard Proof Whiskeys in a laid-back and inviting atmosphere, we offer unplugged live music events, cocktail classes and happy hour—not to mention a lovely setting for the Nashville Art Crawl.
For rye whiskey connoisseurs, our whiskey tasting room offers the opportunity to indulge in the variety of infused and straight rye whiskeys that Standard Proof offers. We offer tastings of all 6 flavors at a half oz pour of each and normal bar service in our downstairs bar.
You can sample them all to find your favorites and learn about some of our top cocktail recommendations for each whiskey. We also offer cocktail classes as a fun opportunity to learn about whiskey and how to great classic and new cocktails.
For the serious whiskey drinker, there is no better place than our tasting rooms to get to know each whiskey and the many ways to enjoy them. Best of all, you’ll be in the company of fellow whiskey lovers in a fun and laid-back environment.

We offer the best way to unwind after a long day's work with our happy hour. Visit us every Monday-Friday from 4-7 PM and treat yourself to whiskey cocktails!
Our cocktail classes are a fun and interactive way for groups or couples to immerse themselves into whiskey and cocktail making 101. These classes are amazing for bachelorette/bachelor parties, corporate ice breakers, and a fun night out with friends. These classes are offered at $60 per person and are led by an expertly trained instructor that works 1 on 1 with the students. This is a one-hour class that teaches people how to make specialty cocktails using different flavors of Whiskey.

The room holds 120 standing and 75 seated. Corporate nights and team building, bachelorette and bachelor parties, birthdays, or the whole place to yourself. Buyouts start at $3,000, and a hands-on cocktail class runs up to 30. Our own whiskey and beer behind the bar; food comes in, and we work with Crave and Puckett’s.

Art Crawl
On the first Saturday of every month, Rep. John Lewis Way N shuts the street down to host the well-known "First Saturday Art Crawl" from 6-9 PM. The night is full of art and local music. Stop into Standard Proof to grab a drink in between checking out the exhibits hosted by our neighbor art galleries.
